Car Robots Vol 3 progress

Hi everyone,

Well we've completed Episodes 9 & 10 and we're about 1/2 way through 11 now. Thought we'd like to give everyone and update that there will be a release sooner or later. We're still waiting on our translator for Car Robots DVD 2 (yeah we know, she's busy...) but we will release it at some point.

We're also looking for a proof reader to check over our grammar. If you'd like to help. Drop us a line.

Reposting of SF2: Movie

Hey everyone,

Due to overwelming requests... SF2:MOVIE is being reposted in alt.binaries.dvd.anime.repost.

This version has some of the subtitles a little more tweaked than the last one. Everything else though is the same.

Please also remember to support the new retail version being done by Manga video which will be released this summer! This version will include both the original Japanese and also English dub tracks. Hopefully their sub track will as detailed as our fansub has.

Anyway back to work on Car Robots Vol 3... :)

Street Fighter 2: Movie - Script and Timing Complete

Good news everyone, the timing has now been completed for our Street Fighter 2: Movie release and we should have something out very soon.
Some features that our release will have that I haven't seen with other groups are:

- Full translation of the entire movie. What I mean by this, is that even Ken and Gouken meditation scene near the end of the movie now has an actual script. I'll have to say without first hand knowledge about this, I could have not been able to provide a translation that would have been correct. Thanks again Gyumoah for all his help on this and also on our past and current Transformers projects. You're like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge! ^_^

- All J-pop songs have been translated. Timing was a bit of a pain for this, but i wanted everyone to at least understand the music that they were listening to.

I hope everyone is looking forward to this release. To answer a question that was raised before that I haven't responded to: It will NOT include the English dub from the USA/EURO versions as I don't have an NTSC source, nor do I really want one considering how poorly it was done. Not to mention the background music being completely altered.

Our releases are fansubs so we'd like to keep it that way. ;-)

Lack of updates

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the lack of updates. My wife who does our translations is in Japan at the moment. So we're lacking our primary translator. One of her friends has offered to sub in and help out for the time being... But it could be a while before Car Robots vol 2 is completed. Another project that's nearing completion is Street Fighter 2: MOVIE. This is the uncut version straight from Japan. Unlike the BS Uncut one that was released here, this one has everything intact. We hope that you'll enjoy this release when it becomes available.

Upcoming releases: Superlink DVD 1 & Car Robots DVD 2 and other stuff

Hi everyone,

Well we have a few new titles in the works that everyone should be seeing in the near future. Transformers Superlink DVD 1 and Car Robots DVD 2. We don't have an exact date for release yet, as this time I would like to only have ONE release rather than having to repack this... so therefore extra time and care will be taken to make sure we have a better release for everyone to download. Both Superlink and Car Robots will be available on DVDR. As far as AVI versions are concerned Car Robots will be 100%, however with TV-Nihon having done Superlink (with an excellent sub) there doesn't seem to be a point in releasing an AVI version... however this could change and we'll let everyone know.

On a side note: for those of you who are complaining about getting our releases via BT or Iaconhub.com: we have one solution for you - get a newsgroup service provider like Giganews or newshosting.com which allows files to be posted for 40-60 days. I can't stress this enough. I appreciate that DAK and Yukod have gone out of their way (on their own time I might add) to get these releases to the more mainstream user who doesn't want to pay for an account. If you really want access to these releases you have to be willing to chip in and help. This is how all fansub groups prosper is when everyone wants to help out.

Zone Repack

We did an update to our TF: Zone release last month. There's a few things we discovered that needed tweeking in our translation. Also we were pointed out that Dinosaurer's blast that hits Sonic Bomber is in fact "Energon Z Beam." Although these are minor, we wanted to correct them for those people who are nitpicky about stuff like that.

Enjoy!

Iacon Hub

Hey guys, just to let you know that I've spoken with my friend over at Iacon Hub who is an admin about the DVD-R's that were being shared, and we decided that we're only going to share the AVI's there due to the amount of files, bandwidth and with respect to the no DVD-RIP policy they have in place. So if you want the DVD-R of any release, you'll have to get it within the newsgroups. Sorry if this isn't the most convinient way for most people. The TF community is fairly huge and i'm sure there's plenty of people who can share this.

I want to also let you guys know that Car Robots DVD 1 is being reposted again as a repack with the correct subtitles in the newsgroups. I'm also putting together the PAR recovery files and they should be posted soon!

Thanks again for all your support!

However, as was Zone... it was only told through a TV Magazine

Hey everyone,

Well I'm very happy about all the postive feedback I heard in regards to Car Robots DVD 1. Thanks so much to everyone for their support in this project. We currently have someone working on a translation for DVD 2... but no release date has been set as of yet.

I'd like to announce that our next release will be Transformers Zone. The translation has been completed and now we're working on the timing. So stay tuned!

PS: For those who didn't get the "Grammer" comment in the previous posts... it was meant as a joke.

Car Robots DVD 1 Script Version 2

Yeah I know what you guys are gonna say... "what another script?"

Really this script is just tweaked a bit more so it's easier to read at some points.
There was also 2 minor mistakes in the last script that was released.

In the preview for ep 4 the word "Cities" was used in the wrong context as it should have been "City's"

And in Episode 5's preview it said Episode 4.

Only minor stuff... but if it's a big deal to you the link is below with the revised script!
