Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Arc Part 2

Long time no talk everyone! Well it's been quite a number of years since we've done any projects. This was mostly due to lack of time and every day life getting in the way. However, we're back (even if it's only brief) to announce we're working on Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Arc Part 2. So far, the timing is done (which is easy) and we're about 1/2 way through translating (which is the hard part!). Just to give you an idea; for about 3 mins of run-time translating, it takes about a 60 to 90 mins. If you look at one of the images that I've posted, my wife basically writes down what is said on screen. From there we translate the kanji and try to piece together the sentences.

As simple as it sounds, it isn't. I can truly appreciate Rika Takahashi's hard work that went into translating the TV series of Rurouni Kenshin. I can't even imagine the headaches that she went through painstakingly finding the adequate translations for expressions and words that are next near to impossible to translate. Anyway, hopefully we'll have something for you guys soon!
