“Beast Wars Reborn: Chapter 4 of 4, The Extraordinary Reformat”

The story so far: A game set by Soundblaster moved the stage from the temple in space, to the jungle-covered planet; Animatros in the time way before the war over the “Grand Black Hole” had taken place!
“Megatron and I were eternal arch-enemies in a war that once divided a world into two.”
Meanwhile, Convoy being a natural space explorer, was greatly intrigued by the unique planetary environment of Animatros. Especially unusual about it, not only in its appearance on the ground surface, but everywhere on this planet was filled with some sort of psionic energy which wrapped the whole of Animatros like an aura. According to the robotic priests of the temple, this was the effect of an ancient treasure called the “Planet Force” which was brought by Transformers on a spacecraft who visited long ago.
The origins of the Animatros world did not match any historical viewpoint known to Convoy. The only way he could think of was that after all, this universe was completely different from the world he knew. Convoy dismissed those thoughts and rushed to decipher the disk with the priests. At any moment, Megatron could storm in and recapture the disk.
Two days later, there was no sign of Megatron showing up, and that, on the other hand, was heightening Convoy’s anxiety. Was Megatron not showing up because he did not need the disk anymore?
“What the hell are you talking about, you outsider!?”
The group of warriors who had lost their boss then went into a frenzy.
Meanwhile, two Ancients who were battling in the spiritual world finally came to a conclusion. Vector Prime had used his sword to slice Soundblaster's body into a V shape and the enemy finally ceased motion. However, this wasn’t truly his end.
“Would you be so kind as to return MY golden disk?!”
“You’re sounding like you’ve also succeeded in decoding the disk. Then you already know the real worth of this body, see it for yourself!”
When Megatron raised his left arm high, Convoy was able to see the slot-shaped energy reception terminal had been formed on the area where the sacred crest was transplanted.
“FORCE CHIP!”
Megatron’s left arm which had read the energy code of the “Force Chip” suddenly caused internal changes, and generated the functions that were not there originally. It was as if a hidden power within him was unleashed by some type of magical key, a fusion missile launcher appeared out of his body, and opened fire on the underground temple, blowing it to smithereens. So tremendous that power, that both enemy and ally trembled with fear. This was the historical moment where the “Ignition phenomenon” had occurred for the first time on the planet Animatros.
“You see, this is the way to connect with the supernatural power. The Zeonomicon is also Soundblaster’s power turned into a Force Chip. Only by acquiring this body, one can connect to it… What exactly have YOU been doing up until now?”
“Laying the groundwork'', said Convoy as he shrugged his shoulders.
To be able to summon the Zeonomicon at the final stage of the "rite of succession", the golden disk must be installed at an obelisk which was built within the mouth of a volcano, which was just beyond the two mountain ranges from the valley where they were standing. Whatever that meant, Megatron was already one step ahead.
“It’s impossible for you to recover your position since you do not even carry the sacred crest. Now, do you want to hand over the disk and die, or have the disk pulled from your dead corpse?”
Convoy fearlessly laughed.
“Unfortunately, it’s not necessarily the case that the sacred crest is needed to execute the ‘reformat’".
“What?”, said Megatron with confusion.
At that moment, Saidos suddenly appeared, carrying a large item from across the valley.
“It’s what you’ve asked for, take it!” Without a moment of delay, he threw the item across to Convoy.
“The Planet Force?!” Megatron was stunned by the item that Convoy had received. It was a sacred treasure itself, framed in gold, the source of the psionic field on the planet.
"The current owner of that thing - the general governor, is quite a reasonable person, you know,” said Saidos. “I wonder if a concept such as, “cooperation in good will” is not in Megatron’s dictionary?”
Convoy activated his rear jets and rose high in the sky, and held the Planet Force with both hands, then prayed fervently.
“Planet Force… a fragment of Primus’ life… I don’t wish for power; I only ask you to bestow me a way of breaking the chains of destiny!”
A brilliant light illuminated the area, and Convoy’s reformatting had begun. The metamorphosis took place instantly, and he, too, was changed into a robot form unique to Animatros. His body was divided into two modules, one of which was reconfigured as a hover board to enhance his airborne mobility. The Force Chip receptor was humbly formed at the rear edge of the board, as if it were reflecting his will. Convoy came flying in to the rock shadow where Saidos was, and handed him the sacred treasure over to him and said:
“Thank you, my friend. And thank the governor, too.''
Then he climbed rapidly and rushed toward the mountains.
Megatron grinding his teeth, straddled onto a giant flying dragon-shaped warrior and followed the flight path of the board.
“Convoy, you think you’re so smart… however, the match isn’t over yet!!”
Then, the two eternal enemies disappeared from the sight of Saidos and the priests. No one has seen the conclusion of their battle--- However, Saidos was convinced that the fact a new day keeps arriving to Animatros, was the best possible answer to the outcome of that battle.
